TANYA DYHIN
DREAMING OF FATA MORGANA
29 April – 29 May 2016
Dreaming of Fata Morgana is a series of works by Sydney-based artist Tanya Dyhin, exploring ideas of perception and experience through the metaphor of the mirage.
Rather than questioning the role humans play in a ‘real’ society, Dyhin examines the realms of both reality and the imagined, showcasing an environment that is isolated from time and human existence. The audience is invited to to consider alternative spaces in which the world as we know it, is inverted, replicated, distorted and perhaps even made anew.
